Year-on-year, West Gardens continues to keep our gardens in good order.
During the winter there was tree damage from high winds for them to deal with and at present the lawn is receiving some TLC: aerating, feeding and seeding.
The ‘shrub islands’ are due to have some under-pruning done with new bedding plants put in.
There is also a cleared area by the Crown Road South entrance that has been cut back, where new shrubs will be planted.
The CPGA Committee are elected at every AGM to manage the upkeep and development of Crown Pleasure Gardens, in a beautiful corner of Glasgow’s West End. One of the main pillars of their work is to ensure good communication and consultation with the association of residents they serve, ensuring residents priorities are at the centre of committee business. As part of this the CPGA website was launched in Spring 2022 and will continue to be updated and promoted to residents as a focal point for updates and information.
